SUSTAINABILITY
FABRIC
Our main fabric is made of textile waste from an Italian company that measures the full environmental footprint of its products. All our suppliers are committed to sustainability, and are actively reducing water use, energy consumption, chemical impact, and CO₂ emissions. And that fits exactly with what we believe.
We also intentionally chose not to use recycled plastic. During our research we came across several inconsistencies, like the cost/benefit ratio of (ocean) plastic recycling or the predominant collection of plastic waste by children in developing countries.

DESIGN
Our design philosophy is functional aesthetics. We focus on minimalist designs, in neutral colors, made from highest quality yarns, as we want to offer items that can easily be combined and last for years. We hope that this reduces the need for frequent new purchases, and supports a slower, more mindful approach to consumerism.
MANUFACTURING
Our garments are manufactured by skilled artisans in Northern Portugal with over 40 years of experience in swimwear. As a family business, fair labor practices are essential to us, so we work with small, family-owned businesses that share our values of quality, craftsmanship, and respect for both people and the planet. It might sound as a given, but unfortunately it’s not how the fashion industry works.
By producing in Europe, we reduce the environmental footprint associated with overseas production and support the local economy.
PACKAGING
We believe packaging should protect both our products and the planet, so it’s simple, functional, and eco-friendly. We use certified recyclable and compostable materials, all made in Austria, and avoid plastic wherever possible. From tags to shipping boxes, every detail reflects our low-impact philosophy. Our recycled mailers are also reusable, thanks to a double adhesive seal.
SHIPPING
We do our best to keep our shipping as sustainable as possible. We work with the Austrian Post (Österreichische Post AG), who was the first postal service to guarantee CO₂-neutral delivery to its customers, and has been doing so since 2011.
To reduce packaging waste and shipping frequency, we encourage bundling with free shipping on orders over 200 EUR.
