WHICH COUNTRIES DO YOU SHIP TO AND WHAT IS THE DELIVERY TIME?
Orders will be dispatched within 1-2 business days and will be shipped insured with the Austrian post. The countries we ship to + the delivery times can be found in our SHIPPING POLICY. If your country is not listed, please send us an email for a shipping quote: hello@sunsociety.co
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We currently accept Maestro, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Google Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal and EPS.
DO I HAVE TO PAY IMPORT TAXES?
All items are shipped from Vienna, Austria. If you live outside the EU, import taxes may apply based on the laws of your country. These charges are collected by the customs office and are separate from the shipping costs. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
Yes, we accept returns within 30 days of receiving your order. The items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags intact. Please contact us at hello@sunsociety.co to receive instructions on how to initiate a return.
DO YOU ACCEPT EXCHANGES?
If you need to exchange an item, please follow these steps:
- Contact us at hello@sunsociety.co with your order number and reason for the exchange.
- We will guide you through the next steps and provide you with an exchange shipping label if applicable.
- Please ensure the item is unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition for the exchange.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
Our business model is to offer you the highest quality products without the traditional retail markups, deadstock, sales, or discounts. Our markup is between 2.5-3x landed cost. It covers the cost of our garments as well as VAT, product development, packaging, payment (credit cards, PayPal, shop systems), accounting, marketing, admin and financial costs, while maintaining a super slim profit to keep investing in our mission of providing ethically made, high-quality sun protection clothing.
ARE SHIPPING COSTS INCLUDED?
Shipping costs are not included in our price, as they can vary significantly based on the destination, shipping speed, and weight of the package. This way, every customer pays the exact shipping cost for their order.
DO YOU OFFER FREE SHIPPING?
Shipping is free on orders over EUR 200
HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your package on the respective courier’s website. If you have any issues with tracking, don’t hesitate to contact us at hello@sunsociety.co.
WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO SUSTAINABILITY AND ETHICAL PRODUCTION?
At SUNSOCIETY, we are committed to providing high-quality sun protection clothing that is ethically produced. Our garments are made with sustainable materials, and we partner with manufacturers who share our values of fair wages, safe working conditions, and environmental responsibility. We believe in transparency and are continually working to minimize our environmental impact.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY SUNSOCIETY GARMENTS?
Avoid lying on rocky surfaces or using mineral sunscreens with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, as they may leave white marks on your clothing.
After each use rinse with cold water to remove salt and chlorine. This preserves the longevity of the fabric.
You may machine-wash the garments preferably at 30°C using a mild laundry detergent when needed / after the summer. The fabric and color may alter in thermal water. Do not use shower gel, hair shampoo or conditioner on the fabric as the fibres may be affected. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach, and do not wring-dry, tumble dry, iron, or dry-clean the garment. Always dry in the shade in order to avoid unnecessary sun exposure.
