Our SUNSOCIETY swimwear is designed to stay beautiful for many summers. We carefully selected the finest recycled Italian fabrics to ensure the highest quality and durability. But even the best fibers deserve a little love.
We’ve put together a brief guide to help you keep your pieces in perfect condition, season after season.
Rinse After Every Swim
Saltwater, chlorine, and even sun creams can wear out swimwear fibers. We recommend to rinse your sun tees and swimwear in cool, fresh water after every wear. This helps remove salt, chemicals and sand, keeping colors bright and elastic fibers strong.
Wash Gently
You may machine-wash our garments, preferably at 30°C using a mild laundry detergent when needed / after the summer.
Never soak for long periods.
Harsh detergents and hot water can break down elastic fibers, causing your swimwear to lose shape over time.
Dry With Care
Gently squeeze out excess water, never wring or twist, as elastic fibers are very delicate.
Lay flat to dry in the shade, to avoid unnecessary sunlight, which can fade colors.
Never tumble dry or iron your swimwear, as high heat damages both color and fabric structure.
Oils & Sunscreen
Many high-performance swim fabrics resist oils and sun creams. But no fabric is completely immune. Always apply sunscreen well before getting dressed to avoid staining and be careful using mineral sunscreens with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, as they might leave white marks on your clothes.
